What’s going on?
I’ve been a bit all over the place. I tried to jump into other people’s projects and feeling a bit out of my element with the groups and it’s been difficult. Looking at what I want to do with my work, It has been quite a restructure. I tend to get excited when I’m jumping into something but i constantly lose sight on what i set out to do in the first place. I don’t regard myself as like a comic artist, illustrator or one type of way. My career has always been, go where things are interesting to you. My mind is always focused on what inspires you to push me from one idea to another.
Moving forward i’ll be using this blog as a journal to document where my work is headed. My concept for my next few years of conveying these ideas I have, It’s mainly to be lose and massive. I want to be able to ultimately have a massive art show that has all of the ideas I have. I’d love to do a massive run where I drop comics, massive art pieces, Installations, Lightshow, set dressing, Clothing, Branding, and Toys.
Let’s list down what the Madd Project will be about.
Gero World
There’s a lot of toy ideas, t-shirts and paintings I’d love to explore with this idea. but it mostly starts with the comic series. I’ve already been making painting explorations for this series. It will mostly focus on the monsters because they’re so much fun.
Makina
I’ve written a few issues for the comic on this project, but i have a lot of other ideas that i want to go along for this story. I’ve started on canvas paintings and some installations for an artshow for this.
One thing i’d like to do for this project is to really show that this Universe exists. I had ideas of making it super immersive. 360 vr videos to look around, projection mapping and even some set design work at the artshow where you see some old and new design that’s very much a sci-fi cyberpunk feel.
I’ve started laying out a 200 page artbook helping with the immersion.
Then there’s the old original drawing i’ve already made of the hundreds of robots.

I’ve thought about doing reviews on youtube but i feel like the easiest way to do it is post it here first and then maybe do a video about it.
So we’ll see. I’ll try to do some art dump here and just show whatever i’m thinking, wish me luck.
